Ministry of Finance debunk claims of grants to nigerians in viral advert

The Federal Ministry of Finance has debunked certain claims by a post on social media that it is providing grants of 3miloion naira to Nigerians.

The ministry through its official Twitter account tweeted:

It has come to our attention that a link is being shared via social media requesting for applications for a FG 3 Million grant. The general public should note that this is a SCAM. Any requests for applications are only via official channels & websites. Pls beware! #FinMinNigeria

We hereby implore all Nigerians to stay alert to the crafts of fraudsters who are on the prowl to dupe innocent people. Please, kindly share to inform someone.
