A tweet on the official handle of the N-Power scheme wishing a happy Eid-el-Malud to beneficiaries has caused outrage online.

We understands that the N-Power scheme beneficiaries are yet to be paid their October stipends, 12 days into the new month, November.

In a tweet congratulating Muslim beneficiaries of the N-Power, we understands that the scheme wished them a great celebration.

“Happy Celebrations to our Muslim family,” the scheme tweeted.  “We hope you have an amazing day.”

The tweet, was, however, welcomed with a backlash from some of the beneficiaries who accused the scheme of making the festive nothing to write home about.

According to them, the Eid-el-Malud would have been a great one if their stipends are paid, as others accused the N-Power scheme of being biased against Muslims.

Imagine wat a family wud be passing through when stipends are not paid at when due. It won’t be an injustice if other agencies of Federal govt haven’t received their October salary by now including those at the helms of Npower affairs. Does it mean some pple derives benefits frm
