UPDATE: Osun Governor begs Npower beneficiaries to resume back to schools for WASSCE coaching

Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola has appealed to exited N-Power beneficiaries who were volunteering in schools to resume work as the State’s prepare revision classes for senior secondary school three (SSS 3) who would commence West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) next week.

The government’s statement to exited N-Power beneficiaries was contained in a public service announcement signed by Mr. Lukman Bello, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Intervention Programmes.

It would be recalled that the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hon. Sadiya Farouq had announced early June this year that Batch ‘A’ and Batch ‘B’ beneficiaries would be exited in June and July respectively.

As soon the Minister announced the the end of Batch ‘A’and Batch’B’ in the social investment programme of Buhari’s administration, the portal was opened for Batch ‘C’ to apply for the 400,000 jobs.

Osun State Commissioner for Education, Mr. Folorunsho Bamisayemi also urged the beneficiaries in the said announcement sacrifice for the future of the students who are preparing for WASSCE as future leaders.
