JUST IN: Lagos Ministry Disowns School Resumption Calendar In Circulation
- The Lagos State Ministry of Education has disown the school resumption calendar in circulation, the announcement is being carried out by The Education Quality Assurance (OEQA).
The Education Quality Assurance unit has warned the public to disregard a resumption time table flying around the social media. Concerning any information you want to know about schools please kindly visit ministry of education official page on twitter.
The time-table claims to be the 2020/2021 academic calendar, states that the first term of the session would commence on September 21, 2020 and end December 18, 2020. Despite the fact that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu confirmed statement that school will resume was made without any specific date mentioned.
The said timetable in circulation which has since gathering faction claims thus;
Lagos State Schools Academic Calendar 2020/2021 | 1st, 2nd & 3rd Term Dates
Lagos Approved School Term Resumption Dates:
1st Term 2020/2021 Resumes on 21st September, 2020.
2nd Term 2020/2021 Resumes on 11th January, 2020.
3rd Term 2020/2021 Resumes on 3rd May, 2020.

First Term

PLEASE NOTE:
Full Academic Program should commence on the first day of each term. All Public Holidays are to be observed as maybe directed by Federal / State Government. All Public and Private Schools are to adhere strictly to the School Calendar.
