NPOWER: NGO rewarding volunteers with 6 months work experience placement of N20,000 stipends

A Nigerian based non-governmental humanitarian organization, Maurice Akueme Foundation (MAF) has offered to support Federal Government of Nigeria’s N-power initiative.

Maurice Akueme Foundation (MAF) has promised to offer free N-power registration to intending applicants who will visit its head office at 96 Zik’s Avenue, opposite Zenith Bank, Enugu or the branch of its foundation at Umuozolu Quarters, Amaebota, Ukana in Udi LGA.

According to the President of MAF, Sir Maurice Emeka Akueme, the free N-power registration is geared towards ensuring that the cost of registration at business centres wouldn’t count as impediment to youths who need the N-power which the federal government empowerment scheme provides.

The foundation, in a bid to motivate Nigerians who are resident in Enugu to participate more in the program, has also offered to give first set of persons to register N-power at any of its offices in Enugu State a 6 month work experience placement of N20,000.00 stipends.

According to the official statement made by the National Coordinator of the foundation and Director of Programmes of Maurice Akueme Foundation, Hon. Mike CJ Madu, in their facebook group titled Maurice Akueme Foundation, a young lady from Ukana has won N20,000 work experience placement for being the first person to register N-power using the foundation’s ICT facility at designated areas in Enugu State.

Hon. Madu said:

For being the first person to use the N-power registration facility at our Head Office. The Maurice Akueme Foundation (MAF) has offered a 6 month work experience placement to Roseline Chinaza Ekwunta from Aseje village in Ukana town.

The Brain Behind MAF: Maurice Akueme Foundation that goes with MAF as its acronym has become a household name among Nigerians in Nigeria, especially, Enugu State residents owing to its philanthropic and humanitarian services which it offers to the helpless and the downtrodden. It is the brain child of an Ukana, Udi LGA, Enugu State, Nigeria account who resides in UK.

Aside free N-power registration, Maurice Akueme Foundation (MAF) offers work experience placement for the selected persons and have them receive N20,000 monthly allowance which will last for 6 months.
