The Government of Enugu State has opened a Recruitment Platform for all youths living in Enugu State termed e-YES Recruitment. This Portal is opened to accept application from interested and qualified candidates to apply and get trained.
The e-YES means “Enugu State Youth Empowerment Scheme”. Applicants in this scheme, will be trained and placed into jobs to better them.
This was initiated by the Enugu SME Centre to reduce unemployment using innovation and technology that are applicable to the global workforce. The e-YES scheme is an empowerment programme by the Government of Enugu under the administration of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of the State, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to empower and set up the youths in the state.

e-YES (Enugu Youth Empowerment Scheme) is an initiative of the Enugu SME Center, under the Enugu Human Capital Development Loan Program, that will empower thousands of youths living in Enugu state with training in digital skills such as advertising, digital marketing, Web Design, Internet Promotion, SMS Marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), PPC, Analytics, App Development/Marketing, Design, Internet Business, Adwords, Adsense, WordPress, mobile advertising, analytics, email marketing, SEO, PPC, WordPress, web design, etc. These high-income skills will enable them to thrive in today’s digital-first world, become innovative entrepreneurs and strategic valuable assets to Enugu State and the international community at large.
Technology will continue to drive change in the workplace, and for one to be a game-changer, one must be able to use technology to solve everyday problems. With this initiative, the Enugu SME Centre is giving the youth an edge, starting now.
Upon completion of the training, participants will be placed into jobs, and within 10 months are obligated to pay back the cost of the training. This way, they can contribute to the economic development of Enugu State and Nigeria at large.
How does e-YES works
This programme is open to all Enugu State taxpayers who have completed their NYSC programme and have interests in the following fields: Digital Marketing, SMS Marketing, Mobile Advertising, Analytics, Email marketing, SEO, PPC, WordPress Development, Web Design, etc. Click here to view further eligibility criteria and register.
The agency provides certified and experienced trainers with affiliation from the Digital Marketing Institute of Ireland; a globally recognized digital training body, to equip you with aforementioned digital skills.
Earn certificates, a job and pay back loan
After the completion of the training programme, participants would receive their Google Digital Certification, and they would subsequently be placed in jobs. Monthly deductions would be made from the salary to repay the loan for the programme as part of the Enugu State Human Capital Development Loan Programme.
- NYSC certificate
- Degree certificate
- LGA certificate.
Below are the requirements you must be able to provide to access the Enugu Human Capital Development Loan Facility:
1. Beneficiary to provide the following:
i). A copy of an acceptable means of identification: Driver’s License, National Voters Card, Official Passport or any other nationally recognized means of identification.
ii). 2 passport photographs of the beneficiary
iii). Letter of upfront interest payment
iv). Receipt of/or Transfer instruction from beneficiaries for interest repayment
v). 2 copies of duly executed letter signed by
vi). Beneficiary to provide a guarantor who works in any of the following sectors: Civil Service, Public Service or Private Sector.
2. Guarantor to provide the following:
i). 2 passport photographs
ii). A letter of upfront interest payment
iii). Post Dated cheques from any deposit money bank in Nigeria to cover guaranteed sum
iv). Authorization letter on lien on BVN and direct debit instruction
v). Letter of confirmation of appointment of guarantor
vi). Receipt of duly notarized Irrevocable Domiciliation letter of Guarantor addressed to place of assignment for deduction of salaries etc. upon default also contain this write-up
e-YES Training Period
After the 7 weeks training period, all trainees will be provided jobs; thus allowing them earn a living and sharpen their skills gained during the training.
The training period will be for a total of 7 weeks, and will cover all areas of digital marketing including Social Media Marketing, Web Design and Development, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and more.
